The way out is the way through
I'm finally starting chemo on Tuersday! \o/ It's going to be rude, ngl. We're going for 4 medications. The first two every two weeks for two months. Then the other two, every single bloody week for three months. If that doesn't kill it off, there is one more we can do as targeted therapy. Side effect of at least half of them is leukemia and other cancers, so yay, I guess.
The oncologist wore a Pride pin (my gaydar was screaming already when I saw her photo on the hospital website) and was deliberate that she would do her best not to misgender me or use my deadname.
Wishing you the best!!!
Will keep my fingers crossed.
Thank you!
i cross my fingers and wish you strenght and all the best!!!
Success with the chemo, fingers crossed!
Succes, sterkte, jij kunt het aan!
And keep posting!
I wish you all the strength it takes! And then some more
Thank you, all *hugs*
Get well, soon!
We're all rooting for you!
Thank you so much <3 <3 <3
It has been some time since you reposted sttuff etc, I hope chemo goes well?
I hear it's exhausting, but I hope you have some progress / everything is within expected parameters
Same here.
Hope you are holding up (sufficiently) well and there is a light showing up at the end of the tunnel.
Hey, thank you for checking up on me. I'm managing, kinda. Round 3 hit me harder than the previous ones but it's within parameters. The social isolation is not great
Thanks for the update
Strength for the next round
Glad you're keeping up.
what @malborghetto said.
I am glad that you are finally able to get the treatment that you need. Also I am hoping that you get a visitor now and then to reduce the feeling of isolation <3
And I am really happy to hear from you again! :)
Thank you so much :))
I've had one visitor only. Somehow all of my friends got top surgery at the same time, so everyone is stuck at home lol. I do fitness over zoom twice a week with my coach, so that is giving some structure and socializing to my life. Also, it's nice to still be able to work out, even if it is not remotely like the intensity before.
